Terms of Service

Last updated: August 19, 2026

Welcome to Civarra. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of civarra.com, our online store, customer accounts, content, products, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). The Services are operated by Civarra LLC (“Civarra,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the policies incorporated into them. When a checkbox appears at checkout, selecting it confirms your agreement to the Terms presented there.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Services or place an order.

1. About Civarra

Civarra is an online retailer offering thoughtfully selected home, kitchen, wellness, and lifestyle products. Our store is built using WordPress and WooCommerce. Payments are processed through Stripe, and some products may be stored, packed, or shipped by third-party suppliers and fulfillment partners.

2. Eligibility

By using the Services, you represent that:

  • you are at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority where you live;
  • if you are under the age of legal majority, you are using the Services with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian;
  • you have the legal capacity and authority to enter into these Terms; and
  • the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

You may not use the Services if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.

3. Customer Accounts

You may be able to check out as a guest or create a customer account. You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
  • all activity conducted through your account;
  • providing and maintaining accurate account, billing, and delivery information; and
  • notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or use.

We may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary to protect customers, prevent fraud, address security risks, enforce these Terms, or comply with law.

4. Products, Descriptions, and Availability

We make reasonable efforts to present product information accurately. However:

  • colors and appearance may vary because of screen settings, lighting, and manufacturing batches;
  • measurements, weights, capacities, and other specifications may have reasonable manufacturing tolerances;
  • packaging, labels, minor design details, or accessories may change without materially changing the product;
  • lifestyle photographs may include decorative items or props that are not included; and
  • inventory and availability may change without notice.

Please review the product title, description, specifications, included components, safety information, and compatibility requirements before ordering.

We may correct product information, update specifications, limit quantities, or discontinue a product at any time. If a material change affects an accepted but unshipped order, we will contact you and, where appropriate, offer an alternative or a refund.

5. Prices, Taxes, and Promotions

Prices are displayed in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless the website clearly states otherwise. Prices may change without notice, but a price change will not affect an order we have already accepted, except to correct an obvious error as described below.

Product prices may not include sales tax, use tax, customs duties, import charges, delivery charges, or similar government assessments unless stated. Applicable charges will be displayed at checkout where we are able or required to collect them.

Promotional codes, discounts, and offers:

  • are subject to the terms stated with the promotion;
  • may be limited by date, product, customer, territory, or order value;
  • cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • may not be combined unless expressly allowed; and
  • may be withdrawn or corrected if issued or used in error, fraudulently, or contrary to their stated terms.

6. Orders and Contract Formation

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the products in your cart. An automated order-confirmation email acknowledges that we received the order; it does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

We accept an order when we send a shipment confirmation or otherwise expressly confirm acceptance. We may accept or reject individual products within the same order separately. Ownership and risk of loss transfer as provided by applicable law.

Before acceptance, we may reject, cancel, or place an order on hold for reasons including:

  • product unavailability;
  • an obvious pricing or description error;
  • unsuccessful payment authorization;
  • suspected fraud, abuse, resale activity, or unauthorized use of a payment method;
  • an invalid, incomplete, or undeliverable address;
  • legal, regulatory, sanctions, or safety requirements; or
  • quantities that are unusually large or exceed stated limits.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will issue a refund to the original payment method. We may contact you to verify an order before accepting or shipping it.

Cancellation requests are handled according to our Return & Refund Policy. Because orders may enter automated processing quickly, a request to cancel is not guaranteed unless we confirm the cancellation.

7. Pricing and Listing Errors

We may correct typographical errors, inaccurate product information, incorrect promotions, or obvious pricing mistakes.

If an error affects an order that has not been accepted, we may cancel the order or ask whether you want to proceed at the correct price. If an error affects an accepted order, we will handle it in accordance with applicable law and will not charge an increased price without your agreement. If you do not agree to the correction, we will cancel the affected product and refund the amount paid for it.

8. Payments Through Stripe

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe and may also involve banks, card networks, digital-wallet providers, and other payment-method providers.

By submitting payment information, you represent that:

  • you are authorized to use the selected payment method;
  • the billing information provided is accurate; and
  • you authorize the applicable charge, including displayed taxes, shipping charges, and other order amounts.

Your order may be delayed or cancelled if authorization is declined, reversed, or requires additional verification. We do not store your full payment card number or card security code on our servers when Stripe-hosted payment fields are used.

Refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy and are generally returned through Stripe to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may require additional time to post a refund.

Stripe processes information under its own terms and privacy practices. For more information, review the Stripe Privacy Policy.

9. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping and delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed delivery dates. Customs processing, weather, carrier operations, public holidays, high order volumes, remote destinations, and events beyond reasonable control may affect delivery after shipment.

We will use the shipping address submitted with the order. You are responsible for checking that the address is complete and accurate before placing the order. Address changes may not be possible after processing begins.

If we cannot ship within the timeframe promised at checkout—or within the period required by applicable law when no timeframe was promised—we will provide any notice, cancellation option, or refund required by law. Carrier delays after timely shipment are handled under our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy, including the procedures for delayed, lost, or delivered-but-missing packages.

Separate products in one order may ship from different fulfillment locations and arrive in different parcels or on different dates.

10. International Orders

If we accept an order for delivery outside the United States, the customer may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, handling charges, or other assessments imposed by the destination country, unless the checkout page states that they are included.

Customs authorities may require personal or order information to clear a shipment. Customs delays are outside our direct control. You are responsible for ensuring that the ordered product may legally be imported, possessed, and used in the destination country.

11. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Returns, refunds, replacements, exchanges, and cancellations are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Please review that policy before ordering. It explains the return window, eligibility requirements, non-returnable products, damaged or incorrect products, cancellation requests, return-shipping responsibilities, inspection, refund processing, refused deliveries, lost packages, and delivered-but-not-received claims.

Nothing in these Terms or the Return & Refund Policy limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Product Use and Safety

You are responsible for reviewing and following all instructions, warnings, age restrictions, maintenance directions, compatibility requirements, and safety guidance supplied with a product or displayed on its product page.

Do not use a product for an unintended purpose. Stop using a product if it appears damaged, unsafe, defective, or subject to a recall. Contact us if you need assistance with a product purchased from Civarra.

To the extent permitted by law, Civarra is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, improper storage, improper assembly or installation, failure to follow instructions, unauthorized repairs or modifications, use with incompatible equipment, or ordinary wear and tear.

13. Warranties and Disclaimers

Any manufacturer warranty or product-specific written warranty will be described with the product or included in its packaging. Civarra does not provide a separate written warranty unless we expressly state otherwise.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and except for any express warranty that applies, the Services and products are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not promise that the website will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that all website content will always be complete or current.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, and applicable implied or statutory warranties may therefore apply to you.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or warranty obligations that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable rights relating to defective products, personal injury, fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

14. Reviews and Other User Content

If you submit a product review, rating, photograph, comment, suggestion, or other content (“User Content”), you represent that:

  • you created it or have permission to submit it;
  • it is truthful and reflects your genuine experience where it describes an experience;
  • it does not infringe another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
  • it is not unlawful, defamatory, threatening, obscene, deceptive, or malicious; and
  • it does not contain malware, confidential information, or unauthorized advertising.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant Civarra a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for formatting, publish, display, and use that content in connection with operating, improving, and promoting the Services, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

We may moderate or remove User Content that violates these Terms, but we are not obligated to monitor all submissions. We will not condition a benefit on a review being positive, and we may disclose incentives associated with reviews where required.

15. Intellectual Property

The Services and their original content—including the Civarra name and branding, logos, text, graphics, icons, page layouts, original photographs, product descriptions, and software—are owned by Civarra or used under license and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal, lawful shopping purposes. This license does not permit you to:

  • reproduce, republish, sell, license, or commercially exploit our content;
  • remove copyright, trademark, or ownership notices;
  • use our branding in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation;
  • scrape, mine, harvest, or systematically extract content or data without written permission; or
  • copy or modify website code except as permitted by law.

Third-party trademarks, images, and product materials remain the property of their respective owners.

16. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • use the Services for an unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive purpose;
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or authority;
  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, networks, or data;
  • introduce malware, malicious code, or harmful technology;
  • interfere with the security, availability, or operation of the Services;
  • use automated means to overload, scrape, or extract data from the Services without permission;
  • attempt to bypass purchase limits, security controls, access restrictions, or fraud checks;
  • use stolen payment credentials or initiate a knowingly false payment dispute; or
  • infringe the rights of Civarra or another person.

We may restrict access, cancel affected orders, preserve evidence, and take lawful action when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

17. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may rely on or link to third-party services, including Stripe, shipping carriers, fulfillment providers, social-media platforms, analytics tools, and external websites.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices that are outside our control. A link does not necessarily mean that Civarra endorses the third party.

18. Privacy and Cookies

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy. The Services also use cookies and similar technologies for functions such as the shopping cart, checkout, security, preferences, analytics, and, where enabled, advertising.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review the Privacy Policy. Where consent is legally required for a particular use of information or cookies, we will request it separately.

19. Electronic Communications

When you place an order, create an account, or contact us electronically, you consent to receive order confirmations, receipts, delivery updates, security notices, policy notices, customer-support responses, and other transactional communications electronically.

Marketing communications are optional where required by law. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails using the link in the message, but you may still receive non-promotional communications relating to orders, accounts, safety, or support.

20. Service Availability and Changes

We may maintain, update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website. We will not knowingly use a website change to avoid obligations relating to an order already accepted.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Civarra and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss of business opportunity, arising from or connected with the Services or a product.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Civarra’s total liability for a claim relating to a particular order will not exceed the amount paid to Civarra for the product giving rise to that claim.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law and do not limit liability for matters that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including liability that may arise from personal injury, a defective product, fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or violation of mandatory consumer rights.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above provisions may not apply to you.

22. Responsibility for Misuse

You are responsible for losses, claims, or costs reasonably arising from your unlawful misuse of the Services, your fraud, your intentional violation of another person’s rights, or your material breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

This section does not require a consumer to compensate Civarra for exercising a lawful consumer right or making a good-faith complaint, return request, payment dispute, or legal claim.

23. Events Beyond Reasonable Control

We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, war, terrorism, civil unrest, epidemics, labor disruptions, government actions, customs delays, widespread carrier interruptions, utility failures, or major internet-service failures.

This section does not remove any cancellation, notice, refund, delivery, or other rights that applicable law gives you.

24. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

However, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections that apply under the law of the state or country where you live. Any dispute will be handled by a court with lawful jurisdiction unless Civarra and the customer agree to another lawful resolution process after the dispute arises.

25. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Services, business practices, technology, or law. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes apply prospectively from the stated effective date. An order already placed will generally remain subject to the version presented when the order was submitted, unless applicable law requires otherwise or you agree to a change.

26. General Provisions

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and any product-specific terms presented at checkout, form the agreement between you and Civarra concerning the Services and your order.
  • Order of priority. If product-specific terms conflict with these general Terms, the product-specific terms control for that product. The Privacy Policy controls regarding the handling of personal information.
  • Severability. If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
  • No waiver. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
  • Assignment. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a merger, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or transfer of the business, subject to applicable law.
  • Headings. Headings are provided for convenience and do not change the meaning of these Terms.
